The Guy’s and St Thomas’ Kidney Patients Association (GSTTKPA) was proudly represented at this year’s London Marathon by Chair, Shevanti Sandy, who was there to cheer on and support three incredible runners raising funds and awareness for the renal community.
Ahead of the race, Shevanti was pictured with one of GSTTKPA’s fantastic athletes, Matthew Britt, before he took on the iconic 26.2-mile challenge through the streets of London.
Joining Matthew on the day were fellow runners Michael Woodward and Madeline Simpson, with all three delivering brilliant performances and finishing in impressive times of under 3 hours and 54 minutes.
Speaking after the event, Shevanti said:
“I am so proud to represent GSTTKPA at this year’s London Marathon and thrilled to celebrate Matthew, Michael and Madeline for their outstanding performances. Their hard work, dedication and commitment to supporting our renal community is truly inspiring. Thank you all for going the extra mile for GSTTKPA.”
Every mile run and every pound raised helps GSTTKPA continue its vital work supporting kidney patients and their families.
