We are please to tell our readers about a series of four short films for adults with kidney disease, which feature patients and staff from GSTT kidney unit. We are delighted to let you know that the films were ‘commended’ in the recent British Medical Association (BMA) Patient Information Awards.

Funded by Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity, the films aim to inform you about the different options for managing your condition so that you can make informed choices about your treatment. They also tell you what to expect from the Guy’s and St Thomas’ kidney service.
Living with early stage kidney disease
In this film we learn about early stage chronic kidney disease or CKD. A patient tells us how making changes to his lifestyle has enabled him to delay the progression of his CKD.
