We’re seeking new volunteers – Can you help?

GSTTKPA is going through an exciting period of change with a new team of recently appointed Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Company Secretary and a further Trustee. As a result, we are seeking to recruit new volunteers to support our ambitious and innovative change programme. These voluntary roles are essential, so we can continue to achieve the aims and objectives of the charity.

We are now seeking new Committee members, especially from our Dialysis units further from Lambeth and from patients or carers from our constituencies of peritoneal dialysis, home haemodialysis and transplantation.

We are particularly keen to increase our support for children and young patients cared for by the Evelina. Committee Members support the Trustees by undertaking a variety of tasks that ensure the charity continues to run smoothly.

All these roles require individuals with commitment, enthusiasm and a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with being a kidney patient. Post holders will have a commitment to equality; celebrate diversity and be responsive to the needs of different groups and individuals within GSTT KPA and the wider community. In return, the successful applicants will join a warm and friendly team that works collaboratively to support each other as well as our kidney patients.

Please review the role profile for Committee members to find out more. As part of the recruitment process there will be a requirement to register as a volunteer of Guy’s Hospital which includes completing any mandatory checks in line with the Trust’s procedures..

To apply please submit your CV to info@gsttkpa.org.
