Kay Allardyce received a kidney from her Mum in 2021 at Guy’s.
On her 10th kidneyversary Kay has written a book, ‘Thanks for my kidney, Mum!’, about having chronic kidney disease (CKD), receiving a transplant and then having children. She hopes that her book may offer some hope and useful information to anyone, but especially young women, newly diagnosed with kidney disease.
Kay would love some feedback (good and bad) on the memoir. If any Guy’s kidney patient would like to help Kay, please contact her directly here.
