Dear kidney patient community,
I am a nephrologist at Guy’s Hospital with a keen research interest in improving care for kidney patients. I am also very excited about artificial intelligence (AI) and exploring how this technology can help us progress in healthcare.
I would like to invite you to a special feedback session regarding my new research proposal that aims to investigate the potential benefits of AI to enhance care and support for patients living with chronic kidney disease.
In this session, I will discuss my research proposal, which is the investigation of the possibility that AI could provide a more accurate indication of the risk of decline in kidney function and suggest a more personalised follow-up schedule. In addition, this technology may help identify CKD patients who may be at higher risk of presenting late to kidney services.
I value your input and experiences, and your feedback will play a crucial role in shaping this project to meet the needs of CKD patients better.
Join the discussion
If you are interested in joining the discussion, please email me at elham.asgari@gstt.nhs.uk by Friday, 7th February. I will arrange a meeting soon after based on the participants’ availability.
