Leaving a charitable gift in your will is a lot easier than many people realise. If you would like to include a gift to Guy’s & St Thomas’ Kidney Patients’ Association, the simplest ways of including us is by leaving a share of your estate (known as a residuary gift) or through a cash gift (known as a pecuniary gift).
Circumstances do change, so if you have a will it is always worth reviewing it every few years to make sure it reflects your current wishes. It may be that you can just add a codicil to your current will in order to leave a gift to us. A codicil is a short legal document that amends your will to reflect your new wishes.
Whichever option you choose, we recommend you ask a solicitor or other legally qualified professional to prepare your will.
