The GSTT KPA supports children, families and carers from the Evelina Children’s Hospital which is located on the St Thomas’ site in Lambeth. The Evelina is one of only two hospitals in south east England for children with kidney disease and so families often have to travel long distances for treatment.
The KPA provides financial support for the Evelina children to attend the annual Transplant Games and at Christmas the children and families are invited to a party also part-funded by the KPA.

The British Transplant Games have been staged annually since 1978 and take place in a different UK city during the summer.
