Introducing Niraj Haria FCCA, our Treasurer. Niraj can bring both accounting and management skills to the Treasurer role for Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital Kidney Patients’ Association.
Niraj’s experience has mostly been in the Financial Services and Asset Management industry. Niraj was born in Nairobi, Kenya. Niraj did his schooling there and then moved to the UK where he did his accounting qualification. Niraj moved to the UK in 2001 and started working for an Asset manager as a Financial Controller. Niraj has over 20 years’ experience in this field as he has done various roles at different institutions. Furthermore, he excelled in Outsourcing, Strategy, Client Relationship, Financial Accounting, Budgets, etc.
Niraj has a keen interest in helping people with kidney diseases, as he has gown up with a close famil member with a kidney disease from a very young age. The family member is currently on dialysis.
Niraj’s hobbies include trekking, swimming, movies and socialising amongst others. Niraj has a keen interest in the environment and wildlife conservation.
